Burdette Park-Union Township Bike Routes/USI-Burdette Nature Trail:

Just southwest of Evansville lies beautiful Burdette Park. 32 miles of rural roads south of the Park are "signed" and dedicated for shared use with bicycles. There are two "trailheads" (at Burdette Park and Dogtown Tavern), the routes are highly visible, and many locals think these are the safest biking roads in Vanderburgh County.     The Park trailhead is located just north of Graff Road, where you can connect to any of the four routes, and the park also has showers that cyclists can use. Dogtown Tavern sells food and beverages.  Click on this link for a map of the routes that you can print: Burdette/UT Routes

Also, Burdette Park is the southern terminus of a beautiful multi-use path called the Burdette Park-USI Nature Trail. The "Trail" is at present about one-third of a mile in length, and can currently be accessed only at Burdette Park, near the campgrounds, as the trail outside of the park is currently under construction.
